AC10 Air Blast Spray Cleaner

The AC10 is a self contained, relay activated air compressor. The AC10 combined with a Sensor Spray Head and a C22 Analyzer / Controller uses pressurized air to generate an area of high turbulence in the water surrounding the measurement end of the sensor. The turbulence is suitable for removing biofilms and other soft coatings.

Alkalinity Analyzers – CA900

The CA900 Series Analyzers are a family of on-line sequential sampling analyzers that use various automated analytical technologies to perform an analysis. When configured for alkalinity measurements, titration technology is used for the most cost effective, ease of use and low maintenance method. The CA900 alkalinity Analyzers are easy to start up and use, simply connect the sample, waste and reagent lines and then power up the factory calibrated analyzer. Wall mounting hardware is standard but an optional benchtop stand with reagent holder is also available. Accessing information or customizing an analysis routine are easily accomplished with the simple, user friendly menu structure and touch screen interface. The analyzer can be “web enabled” for remote monitoring and interfacting with personal handheld devices and computers. Boiler Blowdown Control System – Model 61

The Model 61 Automatic Boiler Blowdown Control System from ECD provides a reliable solution for the continuous control of the surface blowdown rate for commercial and industrial boilers. The Model 61 Boiler Blowdown Control System is a rack-mount, plug-and-play system, which is easy to set-up, simple to operate and provides cost-savings over manual blowdown.  The modular design of the BBS includes a 316 stainless steel sediment trap and sample cooler, temperature gauge, sample control valve and safety relief valve. The Model 61 sample cooler reduces water temperature prior to sample measurement. By cooling the sample, the accuracy and reliability of the conductivity (TDS) measurement is improved. The conductivity measurement is made with the Model C22 controller  and the ECD Model CS10 conductivity sensor or the Model T80 Universal transmitter with the  S80 conductivity sensor. The Model C22 is a line powered instrument, 110/220 VAC or 24 VDC, with PID control functions, logic functions and timers and is supplied with one 4-20 mA output and two alarm relays in it’s standard configuration, up to (3) 4-20 mA outputs and (4) relays are optionally available. The Model T80 transmitter is supplied with (1) 4-20 mA output, MODBUS RTU and (3) relays, HART 7 is optionally available. The Model 61 Boiler Blowdown Control System is a rack mounted modular design that includes: a 316 SS sediment trap, 316 SS sample cooler, temperature gauge, sample control valve and safety relief valve, all tubing and fittings are 316 SS. All system components, except the jacket of the  sample cooler system, can be supplied in carbon steel. The Model 61 is optionally available in a NEMA 4 enclosure.

Cation Conductivity – CE800

The CE800 Series Analyzers are a family of on-line Cation Conductivity Analyzers. Cation Conductivity is also known as Acid Conductivity and Conductivity After Cation Exchange and is the measure of electrolytic conductivity of a liquid sample after that liquid sample has passed through an ion exchange resin column containing cation resin. The conductivity of makeup water, feedwater and condensate after passing through a colum of strongly acid cation exchanger resin is an important chemical measurment used in steam generating power plants. The CE800 Cation Conductivity Analyzers are easy to start up and use, simply connect the sample lines and then power up the factory calibrated analyzer. Enclosure with wall mounting hardware is standard. The analyzer utilized the complete capabilities of the ECD T80 Transmitters and S80 sensors for conductivity and pH if so desired. Chlorine Sensors

ECD Free Chlorine Sensors, Total Chlorine Sensors and Chlorine Dioxide Sensors

The chlorine sensors, Free, Total and Chlorine Dioxide and Flow Cells are available as separate components for users who do not want to use the complete panel mounted system. Choose only the components needed for the specific application, Analyzer, Sensors and/or Flow Cells. Components are listed on the data sheets for each of the various chlorine products.

Colorimetric Analyzer – Model CA6

The Model CA-6 colorimetric analyzer is an on-line sequential sampling analyzer, a sequence of sampling, analysis and result processing is performed and repeated using colorimetric methods. The measurement is a colorimetric analysis using an LED light source and a heated colorimetric cell designed for measuring trace amounts of analyte in water. The colorimetric analyzer is assembled with two separated sections with two lockable doors. The bottom section is the LIQUIDS section. It includes all of the components involved in the flow, mixing and reaction stages of the sample and reagents (sampling pump, colorimetric reaction cell, reagents micro pumps,..). Numerous analysis configurations can be programmed, depending on accessories and of the number of micro pumps mounted in the Liquid Section. The top section is the ELECTRICAL enclosure. It includes the main power supply, the controller PCB assembly and the touch screen interface. A typical Analysis Program in the Model CA-6 Colorimetric Analyzer would have the following structure: Rinse the colorimetric reaction cell with the sample solution and take a sample, add one or more reagents, like a buffer or masking agent and then make the first measurement, the Reference measurement. The Reference measurement eliminates interfering factors such as sample color and turbidity, miscellaneous color from the reagents and refractive index variations. After the reference reading, the color producing reagent(s) are added. The sample is mixed and allowed time to complete the color forming reactions before taking the second measurement, the Reading measurement. The reference and reading values are used to calculate the concentration using the calibration factor. The reaction cell is drained and rinsed several times before starting the next measurement.

Acid feed is controlled via pH, blow down is controlled via Conductivity (TDS) and inhibitor is fed on a user selectable timed basis. Both the period and dose time are easily configured by the user.

Reagentless Free Chlorine Analyzer: The ECD FC80 Free Chlorine Analyzer is a panel mounted, ready to use Free Chlorine Analyzer. It is designed to monitor free chlorine (residual chlorine) in drinking water, industrial cooling and rinse water, wastewater or other fresh water samples containing chlorine in the range of 0.05-20 ppm Cl2 (High Range) or 0.01 to 5.00 Cl2 (Low Range). The FCX80 is a panel mounted, ready to use Free Chlorine Analyzer intended for hazardous locations. It is designed to monitor free chlorine in drinking water, rinse water, cooling water or other water samples from 0.05 – 20 ppm chlorine as the standard range or 0.01 – 5.00 ppm with the low range sensor. The FCX80 is compliant with EPA method 334.0 for measuring drinking water. The FCX80 features a plug and play design that incorporates a constant head flow control device, a pH sensor, a chlorine sensor and the X80 analyzer/ transmitter conveniently mounted on a panel. Connect the sample and drain lines, connect the power and outputs and it is ready to use. Calibration is accomplished by DPD comparison. Free chlorine exists in solution as a pH dependent ratio of hypochlorous acid (~100% at pH 5) and hypochlorite ion (~100% at pH 10). The Free Chlorine Sensor measures only the hypochlorous acid component of the free chlorine and the analyzer calculates the balance using either the measured pH or a user defined fixed value. The use of the pH sensor provides accurate compensation for samples between pH 6 and pH 9 eliminating the need for expensive sample conditioning systems to control the pH of the solution. The X80 is 24 VDC powered and allows either parameter to be graphically displayed with user defined Line, Bar or Guage style graphs. The standard configuration has (2) 4-20mA outputs, (3) alarm relays and MODBUS RTU. Amperometric chlorine sensors are flow sensitive, and a “Constant head” Flow control Device (CFD) maintains the optimum flow past the sensor over a wide range of incoming sample flow rates. The minimum flow required for the CFD is 10 gal/hr and the maximum flow is 80 gal/hr with the sample going to drain at atmospheric pressure. Hazardous Location Transmitter – Model X80 Series

The ECD Hazardous Location Transmitters – Model X80 Series provides the same capabilities and general feature set as the general purpose T80 Universal Transmitter. Various configurations are available as single or dual channel for the continuous measurement of pH, ORP, pION, Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity, Conductivity or Resistivity. The Model X80 transmitter digitally communicates with any ECD Model S88 and/or S80 Intelligent Sensor, automatically configuring the transmitter’s menus and display screens to the measured parameter. The X80 is designed with a durable stainless steel enclosure for explosion proof/exd hazardous applications.

Model L20 pH/ORP

The Model L20 pH/ORP/Temperature meter is an AC line powered or battery powered precision instrument. The Model L20 features auto buffer recognition during calibration for both USA Standard and NIST pH buffers. The L20 has automatic temperature compensation and it monitors the electrode’s slope and offset reporting the electrodes efficiency assuring that the measurement is correct.
