We keep this simple: we only use what you send us to answer you, and only count visits anonymously to improve the site.

Who we are

What you send us
When you use the contact form, we receive the details you type — name, company, country, phone, email, topic and message. They are emailed directly to info@seg-eg.com and are not saved in a database on this website.
If you choose WhatsApp, your message is sent through WhatsApp under its own terms, and we see it on our company WhatsApp number.
We use these details only to reply, prepare quotations and follow up on your enquiry. We never sell them or share them for marketing.
Technical data
Like every web server, our host (GoDaddy) keeps standard access logs — IP address, browser type, page requested and time — for security and troubleshooting. To block spam, the contact form keeps a one-way hashed IP stamp for about one minute.
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful (pages viewed, approximate country and city, device and browser type, and how visitors arrived). Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga) for up to 14 months; it does not store full IP addresses, and we never send it your name, email or phone. We do not use advertising cookies or remarketing. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Third-party content
The contact page shows an embedded Google Map and pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When these load, Google receives your IP address under the Google Privacy Policy. Links to LinkedIn, WhatsApp and manufacturers’ websites follow those sites’ own policies.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept in our business mailbox for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting contract, and as required by Egyptian tax and commercial law.
Your rights
Under the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Write to info@seg-eg.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy when the website changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
